Picture Update??

Ok, been awhile since I’ve done this, hasn’t it? These are the pics I took when I went to Shale Creek; I tagged along with the Field Ecology class, the same class I had taken two years back. I’m just happy I had the camera this time around so you all can see how beautiful the place really is. Enjoy.

  1. What is the significance of the red dog in “13th Warrior”??

Warriors drank beer. That’s the significance. *nods sagely*

Awesomely beautiful pictures. The last waterfall and the “fire leaves” are my favorites.

  2. god i want to go camping.
    -longing of a carrot

  3. I would like to make a suggestion about your picture posts. Now, you know I love them because not only do you take good photos, you also have a really good grasp on what’s beautiful about nature.

My suggestion, however, is that you caption the photos with something. It doesn’t have to be clever, or even erudite. Something simply like “Waterfall” would work, or a small clip of your thoughts about the picture, like “The flecks in this leaf caught my eye.”

I just like to know what the artist is thinking. I’m weird like that.

    • That’s not a bad idea, I will consider that. It will probably happen when I don’t have massive loads of pics to put up, only because it takes long enough to get them w/o captions, but…Maybe on just my favorites, even.

      Good idea.
