Sitting beside her bed, listening to her just try and be. Every breath Mom takes sounds like a movie-quality last breath. She's continually groaning, coughing and moaning. Words cannot express.

  2. I was close to my mum so I empathise. Nothing is ever the same again. I lost my mum when I was 30 and she was 74. She married late, a recovering workaholic!
